Bethany Buck, Vice President and Publisher
Bethany heads both the Simon Pulse and Aladdin imprints. She also maintains a select list of her own and is interested in commercial teen fiction, as well as realistic fiction, edgy fiction, and books that feature male protagonists. Her most recent books published include the Leviathan series and the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld; and The Secret to Teen Power.

Annette loves complicated, engaging protagonists.  She acquires books based in—or out—of reality with inventive hooks and distinctive voices, and is particularly looking for dark, edgy novels; mystery thrillers; and suspense. She also loves a good romance—and a good laugh.  Her list includes National Book Award finalist Carrie Arcos, Stonewall Honor Brian Farrey, as well as NYT Bestselling authors L.J. SmithThomas E. Nicole supports Bethany Buck at Simon Pulse. Patrick enjoys developing bold, new voices into books that both entertain and challenge readers. A self-professed pop culture junkie, Patrick's eclectic list from his prior years in adult editorial include the bestsellers He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, sTORI telling by Tori Spelling and Gunn's Golden Rules by Tim Gunn.
